Shenley Road, Milton Keynes:

A proposal to replace an existing single storey garage with a new larger single garage with study/music room over, in the setting of an historic timber framed house. The upper floor is accessed by an external timber stair and incorporates a dormer window with French doors and Juliet balcony. The project also includes improving the existing on-plot parking, and the rationalisation of the existing significantly varying outside ground levels by means of extensive elevated decking and guarding. This approach unifies the existing garden space making it feel much larger as a result. Steps will be incorporated within the decking to form connections with the existing decking to the house, the garage and the Northern end of the lower garden.
